School Summer Holiday DMU Trains
The school summer holidays are fast approaching, so why not treat the family to a great day out at Great Central Railway Nottingham?
Enjoy a scenic return journey aboard one of our beautifully preserved Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs), travelling from Ruddington Fields Station to Rushcliffe Halt through the picturesque South Nottinghamshire countryside. Take advantage of our popular Kids for a Quid offer, making it an affordable day out for the whole family.
There's plenty more to discover during your visit, including our collection of preserved road vehicles at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre. And with Rushcliffe Country Park right next door, featuring adventure play areas, woodland walks, picnic spots and open green spaces, you can easily make a full day of your visit.
