Hotchley Hill signalbox is rapidly transforming inside. Thanks to British Gypsum a metal frame, plywood and plasterboard are appearing inside the 1940s building. Not only will it be much warmer now, it paves the way for the fitting of a block shelf and early work on the signalling itself.
The team from British Gypsum have led the way in providing a quality installation and everyone at Great Central Railway (Nottingham) is very grateful for their hard work and generosity. It's a real leap forward for the restoration of the signalbox.
