On the Trains
All our trains feature on-board catering. Many services feature
our first-class buffet car that serves a range of hot and cold
beverages and snacks for your journey. Many of our coaches have
enhanced facilities and space for prams, pushchairs and baby
buggies, all in the seating areas where parents can keep a watchful
eye, as well as wide doors to facilitate boarding.

Ruddington (main station area)
Our main site at Ruddington is the base for the railway's
operations and is our principle station. There is a cafeteria
(selling hot and cold food, drinks, etc), Toilets, Baby Change
facilities, a gift shop, the narrow-gauge line operated by the
Nottingham Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (NSMEE) and
a collection of historic buses as well as a building hosting three
model railway layouts.
The main platform is located alongside the Rushcliffe Country Park
in Mere Way, Ruddington. Car parking is plentiful. A cool satellite view of the site is here. A
printable, simple to use map of our Ruddington station site and
it's facilities is shown above (Click on Image for full size)

The Country Park in which the main station and facilities at
Ruddington is located features an excellent children's play area
and a kiosk selling teas, coffees and ice creams. Ruddington
village Centre (approx 20 minute walk from Ruddington station) has

The south edge of the country park provides access to Asher
Lane, and thence to an extensive network of footpaths
criss-crossing Gotham Moor and the railway.
